Pension Barbara

Barbara picked us up at arrival and guided us to the place. Overall, very friendly and accommodating! Fresh, clean, cozy room and atrium. Greek feeling at its best! Got even a gift related to the island.... ++

We made the best decision by booking Barbara Studios for our vacations at Amorgos. The position is excellent, right next to the Katapola main road and port with all the tavernas and restaurants, but at the same time it is very quiet and well sheltered from the traffic. The appartment was very beautiful and tastely decorated, and the bathroom was spotless, excellent. One of the best things about Barbara Studios was how clean it was, honestly super clean, with daily cleaning and change of towels. Furthermore, the appartment had an awesome balcony, overlooking Katapola and the bay, where we could have breakfast, relax and enjoy the Aegean breeze. ... ++

Stopped in Barbara pension for a few nights with my family (21-52). Our first time in Amorgos and it was wonderful! The apartment was very clean, had good wifi and was situated perfectly (only a 2/3 minute walk to the harbour front). Barbara herself was lovely; very friendly and helpful. She had given us some of the local Amorgos rakimelo to try and was full of useful information. The beaches weren't great to say the least but a great place to stop over for a few nights between island hopping. Very beautiful town (Katapoula), lots of restaurants on the harbour front. A mixture of more expensive restaurants for the yachting community who moor there, as well as traditional Greek restaurants and cute dessert places. Would definitely stay here again.... ++
